MediAd View LLC (“MediAd View”, “we”, “us”) operates a digital signage and LED advertising platform: we install and manage digital displays and digital menu boards, sell advertising space on those displays, and provide our business customers with a web dashboard for campaigns, invoicing, and customer communication.

This policy explains what personal information we collect, why we collect it, how we use it, who we share it with, and the choices you have. It applies to mediadview.com, panel.mediadview.com, our advertiser marketplace, our Android TV player application, and the business messages we send by email and WhatsApp.

1. Who this policy covers

Business customers and advertisers — companies and individuals who purchase advertising space, digital menu boards, or display services from us.
Authorized users — the people who log in to our dashboard on behalf of a business customer.
Website and marketplace visitors — anyone who browses our sites or submits a contact, quote, or self-service advertising request.

Our displays show advertising content in public and semi-public spaces. They do not use cameras, facial recognition, audience-measurement sensors, or Bluetooth/Wi-Fi tracking, and they do not collect personal information from passers-by.

2. Information we collect

We do not knowingly collect information from children under 13, and our services are not directed to them. We do not sell personal information.

3. WhatsApp Business messaging

What we send. With your consent, we use the WhatsApp Business Platform (WhatsApp Cloud API, provided by Meta Platforms, Inc.) to send you transactional business messages only: new invoices with the invoice PDF attached, payment reminders before and after the due date, payment confirmations and receipts, and replies to questions you send us. We do not send marketing or promotional messages by WhatsApp.

How we get consent. We message the WhatsApp number a business customer gives us for billing purposes, or the number from which that customer first writes to us. You can turn WhatsApp notifications off for your account at any time, and we will continue to send the same documents by email.

How to stop the messages. Reply STOP to any of our WhatsApp messages, or write to Sales@mediadview.com. We will disable WhatsApp notifications for your account.

What we store. The messages exchanged with us — including images, PDFs, and voice notes you send — are stored in our system so that our team can read, answer, and keep a record of what was agreed. Message delivery and read status reported by WhatsApp is also stored. Your use of WhatsApp is additionally governed by WhatsApp’s own privacy policy.

4. How we use the information

To provide, install, operate, and support the services you purchased.
To generate and deliver invoices, process payments, track balances, and pursue collection of amounts due.
To communicate with you about your account, service, contracts, and support requests.
To schedule, publish, and verify the advertising content you provide.
To secure our platform, detect fraud and abuse, and troubleshoot technical problems.
To comply with legal, tax, accounting, and permit obligations, and to enforce our agreements.

Where the law requires a legal basis, we rely on the performance of our contract with you, our legitimate interest in operating and securing our business, your consent (for example, for WhatsApp notifications), and compliance with legal obligations.

5. Who we share it with

We share personal information only with service providers that help us operate, and only to the extent they need it:

Meta Platforms, Inc. — WhatsApp Business Platform, to deliver and receive the business messages described above.
Email delivery providers — to send invoices, receipts, and notifications.
Payment processors (such as Stripe) — to process card and online payments. Full card numbers are handled by the processor, not stored on our systems.
Cloud hosting and storage providers — to run our servers, database, and media storage.
Professional advisors and authorities — accountants, attorneys, or public authorities when required by law, subpoena, or to protect our rights.

If our business is sold or reorganized, customer records may transfer as part of that transaction. We do not sell or rent personal information, and we do not share it for third-party advertising.

6. How long we keep it

Account, contract, invoice, and payment records: for the life of the relationship and at least seven (7) years afterwards, as required for tax and accounting purposes.
Email and WhatsApp conversations: while the account is active and for up to three (3) years afterwards, as proof of what was requested and agreed.
Advertising content: until the campaign ends and for a reasonable period afterwards, so campaigns can be renewed or reproduced.
Technical logs: normally up to twelve (12) months.

7. How we protect it

Access to our dashboard requires an account; passwords are stored only as salted one-way hashes and never in readable form. Traffic is encrypted with HTTPS. Access to customer records is limited to authorized staff by role. Repeated failed logins are rate-limited, and administrative actions are logged. No system is perfectly secure, but we work to protect your information and will notify you and the relevant authorities of a material breach as required by law.

8. Your choices and rights

Access and correction — request a copy of the personal information we hold about you, or ask us to correct it.
Deletion — ask us to delete your information, except where we must keep it for legal, tax, or accounting reasons or to enforce an unpaid balance.
Communication preferences — opt out of WhatsApp notifications (reply STOP) or unsubscribe from non-essential email. Essential billing notices remain available by email while your account is active.
Additional rights — depending on where you live, you may have further rights, including under the California Consumer Privacy Act or the GDPR, such as the right to know what we collect and to not be discriminated against for exercising a right.

To exercise any of these, write to Sales@mediadview.com from the address on your account. We respond within 30 days and may need to verify your identity first.

9. Cookies and similar technologies

We use strictly necessary cookies and similar storage to keep you signed in and to protect sessions. We do not use advertising cookies or cross-site tracking. If we add analytics, we will update this policy first.

10. International transfers

We operate from the United States, and our providers may process information in the United States or other countries. Where required, we use appropriate safeguards for such transfers.

11. Changes to this policy

If we make a material change, we will update the date at the top of this page and, for active customers, notify the account contact by email.
